WHAT IS IT?
Animal Communication is the telepathic non-verbal understanding between humans and animals–soul to soul. Our abilities to connect via this non-verbal link–telepathy–has diminished over the centuries but it is something we all have access to and may recognize as intuition, synchronicity, coincidence. We’ve all had these experiences.
The practical application of guidance suggested during a session should help you and your animal companion through life challenges as well as enhance your quality of life.
Purposeful, intentional communication with an animal is achieved by simply being–quiet and resting in the heart. From that place, we respectfully ask to connect with the animal, and extend to that animal from our heart’s center. There is cultivation and practice in telepathy as in meditation–to cultivate a quiet mind and allow the intelligence of the heart to perceive, receive and transmit information which often occurs as images, feelings, thoughts, and sensations.
HOW IT CAN HELP AND WHAT I CAN OFFER
I work with both companion animals and wildlife. This work takes place within a meditative state where I connect with the animal (at a distance) then receive information. I would then afterwards, relay this information to you in a conversation. My job as a communicator is to be a bridge between humans and the animal kingdom and to offer compassionate assistance; to relay information, images, and suggestions to you in response to questions you’ve presented. I want to assist you in finding solutions that affect the well-being of your animal and your relationship with that animal.
REASONS FOR ANIMAL COMMUNICATION
- To gain understanding of issues that may affect the well-being of your animal and household.
- To assist in strengthening and deepening the relationship between you and your animal companion or an animal in the wild
- End of life issues
- Moving
- Changes in the home
WHAT TO EXPECT IN A SESSION
In my conversation with you, you’ll relate to much of what I have to say but there may be times when you don’t; an odd image, sensation or thought that I’ve conveyed, might not make sense. Just take note and see what unfolds after our time together. It often happens that within days (sometimes longer) that odd image or thought, reveals itself and how it’s connected to you and the animal in question. All animals have different personalities and characteristics, and some love to communicate and most all love the attention. They may also want to chat about things other than the questions presented!
SESSION REQUIREMENTS AND TIME
You’ll need to provide the information below in an email to me:
- a full photo of your animal showing the eyes
- age, sex and name of the animal
- questions you want me to ask, concerns you may have, information you’d like me to convey to the the animal on your behalf
- phone number to call for our session
Once scheduled, let the animal know I’ll be working with them. I work in meditation for 30 minutes (with 1 to 2 animals), then 30 minutes in dialogue with you. The session goes by very quickly–please take notes!
Consultations for more than 2 animals would require additional session time.
TELEPHONE READINGS
I offer readings by phone–I find the phone most conducive for this work. I’ll make contact with the animal/s in question prior to our phone conversation which allows for a clear connection between myself and the animal.
SCHEDULING AND PAYMENT
You can schedule by choosing the option below or by email contact from this website–I will most always respond within 24 hours. Once we’ve scheduled I’ll need to receive payment within 24 hours–please use the payment button on this website. Once received I’ll send confirmation.
Animal communication services are designed to compliment, not substitute for, medical or veterinary care. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will not be refunded unless the spot can be filled.

Testimonials
“I loved the information you provided about my dog Charlie regarding his itchy skin issues. You captured his personality perfectly so I knew you were connecting with him. I’m grateful for the helpful information about his skin. He even came up to me later that day and stared at me like he never has before, I think he appreciated the connection too! Thank you!” ~ Aldona Shea, Artist and Bodywork Therapist
“Janet Robbins’ intuitive connection with animals is astonishing. Her reading brought clarity to the way I care for my canine friend, and her insights into my companion’s thoughts, feelings, and responses were fun and revealing. No matter what you’re seeking to know, trust that Janet will give you honest answers that inform your natural care-giving instincts and deepen the bond between you and your animal friend.” ~ Bobbi Buchanan, writer and teacher.
“Janet is such a gifted communicator, and has what I would call “the gift of sight”. Her communication with my three canine companions captured their personalities, sense of humor and mischief, inner feelings, and their stories. I am dealing currently with a dog in the depths of very old age (17), and she very much helped me align with Khoe and her needs. The session was full of insight, advice, and was also super fun! I highly recommend Janet Robbins.” ~ Rebecca D’Angelo, realtor, Richmond VA
“Janet worked with my two girls and I since June 2020. She is a very amazing and comforting person, who was able to transform relationships between me and my girls. Emma was really sick for a few months and getting worse. My vet and I thought it was her respiratory system because she couldn’t breathe well. The vet put her on a bunch of pills, nasal sprays and nebulizer treatments which helped little. We were waiting for weeks to see a specialty vet for further evaluation when Janet came into our lives. Janet accurately described Emma’s physical symptoms and stated that her real problem was her gut. There was nothing at that point that made anyone think this was so. However, after evaluation by the specialty vet, Janet was correct Emma had an enlarged liver, chronic pancreatitis, spleen problems and an autoimmune inflammatory bowel disorder. Unfortunately the specialty vet intervention was far too late to help Emma recover. Emma grew steadily worse to the point of having to be put asleep. Before the ambulatory vet came to help Emma transition to her butterfly self, Janet was able to connect with Emma and explain the circumstances. Emma was agreeable because she knew her condition would not improve. Emma talked about issues she had struggled with throughout her life. Some of them were utterly surprising. Emma and I were able to heal these issues and say what needed to be said during her last minutes on earth. The ambulatory vet said that Emma was accepting of her transition because she did not struggle at all during the process unlike most animals. Being able to resolve Emma’s life struggles and knowing she had accepted the transition process were the most meaningful moments of my life. Afterwards, I felt like I was living a stranger when Emma’s sister, Abby, and I were left alone together. All of my energy went to help Emma over many months that Abby’s needs and wants were pushed to the side. Janet was able to help me reconnect with Abby in her likes, dislikes, and also her struggles she had since puphood. Janet gave us practices to use to help Abby and I to overcome these issues. May you find as much help and healing between you and your companion animal as My girls and I did.” ~ Deborah R.
